Our culture is one of innovation, passion and teamwork - we are constantly striving to improve pregnancy outcomes for our patients, while providing the best possible care and support throughout their treatment journey.Job DescriptionWe currently have an opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Brisbane clinic on a contract, maternity cover position.Genea Nurses provide frontline care to our patients, supporting them along every step of their Fertility treatment.
This role is unique, you be working in an office environment interacting with our patients both over the phone and face to face.
Alongside clinical duties, a significant proportion of your role will involve providing patient care, support and education.On a Daily Basis Your Role Will InvolvePatient face to face interviews and phone chatsCollaborating with doctors and scientists coordinating care, working together to tailor unique treatment plans for each patient.Providing instructions to patients for the self administration of IVF drugsProviding results to patients over the phone and support at any point requiredMaintaining accurate patient records, clinical data entry and general administration duties associated with the roleQualificationsWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (with a current AHPRA registration) who is genuinely interested in specialising in fertility for this role.
You will have strong clinical skills, but also strong people skills as large component of this role involves support and counselling.
We are looking for empathetic Nurses, who can build rapport and provide genuine, authentic care to our patients.As this role is office based you will need also strong administration skills and technical competence - at Genea we work across a number of different IT systems which you will need to learn.Additional InformationGenea offers our Nurses the opportunity to build a specialisation in IVF, an interesting and innovative industry.
