**What are we looking for?**

We have a great opportunity for a Law Clerk to join our Costing team in Melbourne. This is a full time role with flexibility to work between the office and home after sufficient training.

In this role you would be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of legal costs matters, including but not limited to fixed fee cost claims in Victorian workers compensation and motor vehicle accident claims. You will be responsible for but not limited to:

- Assist in the preparation and lodging of fixed fee cost claims including negotiation of outcomes.
- Assist in the preparation of party/party cost claims and cost assessments across the Personal Injury practices.
- Accurately perform full disbursement reconciliations to ensure all disbursements are captured.

**What will you bring?**
- Experience working in the legal industry - Personal Injury
- Ability to build strong and influential relationships internally and externally
- Clear communication skills (both verbal and written) and an ability to tailor approach depending on the situation
- Ability to take initiative, work to deadlines and multitask.
- An enthusiastic and proactive approach.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong problem solving skills
- Available to work 38 hours per week, between the hours of 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday
