APRA's in-house legal team provides legal advice across various aspects of financial, corporate and administrative law and prudential regulation, involving banks, credit unions, building societies, general insurance and reinsurance companies, life insurance, private health insurance, friendly societies, and most of the superannuation industry.

We currently have an opportunity in the Corporate team at the Principal Solicitor level. The Corporate team is a busy and dynamic team that provides advice and assistance across the organisation on a wide range of issues related to the running of APRA including contracts, inquiries, and range of other matters.

Ideally, you will have post-admission experience in government or private practise.

You will need to be able to provide high quality advice, prioritise and manage a reasonably complex and challenging workload, and have a flexible and practical approach to problem solving.
