FIFO Operator – $59.02/hr | 2/1 Roster | Cape Preston We are seeking an experienced FIFO Operator to join our client's team at the Cape Preston mine site.
This role operates on a 2/1 swing roster, working one week on days and one week on nights.

What You'll Do: Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain multiple pieces of equipment safely and efficiently Interpret blueprints and specifications to position and operate machinery Conduct chute, sensor, and conveyor cleaning Carry out scheduled maintenance and repairs on site and in the workshop Perform pre-start checks, hazard assessments (minimum 3 per shift), and ensure safe operation Provide accurate reporting of equipment condition and job activities to supervisors Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment through daily housekeeping practices Support continuous improvement and recommend procedural or productivity enhancements Respond to emergency jobs as required Work closely with supervisors and team members to achieve production and safety goals Mandatory Tickets & Requirements: Current C Class Driver's Licence Confined Space Entry (valid within 2 years) Working at Heights (valid within 2 years) Gas Testing Atmospheres (valid within 2 years) Skid Steer Ticket Excavator Ticket Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team with limited supervision Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical & DAS Ability to undertake FIFO roster (2/1) Desirable: Forklift Licence (LF) Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket Overhead Crane Ticket Dogging & Rigging (Basic) Previous mining or heavy industrial experience What's on Offer: $59.02 per hour FIFO from Perth to Cape Preston on a 2/1 roster (one weekdays / one weeknights) Opportunity to work in a supportive, safety-focused team Long-term employment with a respected mining client Exposure to varied site operations for skill development Please apply with relevant licenses & tickets to fast track your application process
