With several Flavorite sites located across Victoria, this role is based at our Warragul location which currently employs up to 550 employees.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Trades Assistant to join our Maintenance Department. Working in small team, your key responsibilities will be:

- Assist with the maintenance of plant, equipment and buildings as specified on the work order
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance
- Operation of maintenance equipment
- Participate in a roster that provides 24-hour support to staff and farm in emergency breakdown situations
- A current driver's licence
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- The ability to work in a team environment
- A high commitment to safety
- Forklift licence is highly desired but not mandatory
- A high level of problem solving skills
- A good level of fitness with the ability to undertake physical and repetitive work

This position will suit someone with an agriculture/mechanical background with someone who is completing or has completed an apprenticeship. Basic electrical, Mig and Arc Welding knowledge is also desirable.
