**VM Operations Support / Retail Sales Assistant**

**Position Summary**:
As the VM Operations Support and Retail Sales Assistant, you will play a dual role in supporting the VM and Operations team and also engaging with customers on the sales floor. Your responsibilities will include maintaining brand aesthetics, implementing consistent brand communication, product presentation, and contributing to the overall shopping experience. You will ensure that all stores are merchandised and visually displayed according to the guidelines provided by Head Office, while also providing top-notch customer service and sales support.

**Objective of the Role**:

- **Visual Merchandising Operations Support**: Assist with product displays, and VM training. Ensure that all visual merchandising is in line with brand standards and enhances the customer experience.
- **Retail Sales**: Engage with customers on the sales floor, offering product knowledge, assistance, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Support sales goals by driving customer engagement and product promotion.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **Visual Merchandising**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to complete the reset program according to the agreed timeline.
- Support window and store display arrangements to ensure visual appeal and alignment with brand standards.
- Assist in creating plan-o-grams to build and display merchandise effectively.
- Arrange and implement new ideas and strategies for displays of new product launches in collaboration with the Head of Buying.
- Proactively address any hurdles or project disruptions with a solution-driven mindset.
- Provide feedback and support to ensure quality standards are met across all visual merchandising activities.
- **Retail Sales Support**:

- Greet customers and provide exceptional service, ensuring their needs are met and questions answered.
- Offer product knowledge and assistance, driving sales through informed recommendations and upselling.
- Support company sales goals and promotional messages with appealing VM design to maximize customer engagement.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and visually appealing sales floor.
- Handle transactions, manage inventory on the floor, and restock products as needed.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and customer service best practices.
- **Collaboration & Communication**:

- Work closely with the managing team to solve challenges that affect retail services, efficiency, and productivity.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure all work is in sync and delivered in accordance with project goals, objectives, and timelines.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Previous experience in visual merchandising, retail sales, or a similar role is highly desirable.
- **Skills**:

- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A keen eye for detail and aesthetics, with the ability to create visually appealing displays.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience.
