**The Role**:
Reporting to the CDC NSW Chief Executive Officer and being part of the CDC NSW leadership team, the General Manager - Asset Management will oversee the development of asset management plans and strategies, maintenance delivery, supplier engagement and contract management.

This role is based at our Seven Hills Head Office with onsite parking and flexibility on offer among other benefits

**Key Performance Requirements and Duties**:

- Development of the Asset Management Strategy and Annual Work Plans
- Develop and implement strategy, standards and policy for the execution of asset management activities.
- Ensure all assets are maintained, and asset management activities are conducted, in accordance with legal, statutory and ISO 55001 compliance requirements.
- In line with ISO5501 principles monitor asset condition and instigate maintenance program refinements that will optimise whole of life asset value
- Manage the Capex and Opex budget and instigate optimisation on a continuing basis.
- Manage the transition to Zero Emission Buses, including managing the depot enabling works.
- Principle point-of-contact and engagement for Asset Management
- Timely delivery of accurate reporting in line with contractual requirements
- Oversee the engagement of suppliers and the management of supplier contracts.

**About You**:

- A senior leader with demonstrated Asset Management experience in a complex or high-risk industry.
- Degree level qualification in Engineering or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in the development and management of asset management systems and processes.
- Ideally, experience of implementing and maintaining ISO55001
- Experience in planning and leading significant change initiatives and business improvement programs.
- Exceptional leadership. communication and interpersonal abilities
