**The Department**
The SBS Television and Online Content Division is responsible for the development, commissioning, acquisition, programming and curation of distinctive content for our many diverse audiences across a portfolio of free-to-air television channels including SBS, NITV, SBS Viceland, SBS Food and SBS World Movies as well as SBS OnDemand and our online website offerings such as SBS Voices. The division is also responsible for the continuous development of SBS On Demand to ensure a world class offering to its growing audiences.
Reporting into the Director of Television and as a senior member of the SBS TVOC team, it is required to work with other members of the TVOC and broader SBS team to support the planning and delivery of the TVOC Division's goals including audience growth across Television, Streaming and Online platform and the production and acquisition of a range of distinctive Australian and overseas content.
This role will include and not be limited to the following responsibilities
- Providing support on strategic and business unit priority planning to the Director of Television
- Supporting the team in the delivery of channel and On Demand strategies, and lead the compilation of channel strategy documents
- Leading the forecasting of audience performance analysis as part of the annual budget cycle, supported by the Audience Data & Insights and SBS On Demand analytics teams
- Working collaboratively with the Content Leadership Team, in particular Head of Network Programming and Commissioning to support them in identifying and targeting audience opportunities, programming options, release strategies, product/marketing effectiveness, and digital transition
- Providing ad hoc analysis which will require an ability to analyse audience and financial information as well as having an ability to take into account more nuanced inputs such as editorial sensibility and company charter

**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent analytic, presentation and communication skills. A passion for the SBS purpose and for editorial content. A highly collaborative style and driven to succeed.
Experience in a similar media - audience, streaming, business analytics role is preferred
