**FRONT COUNTER SALES ASSISTANT - FULL TIME /PART TIME POSITION AVAILABLE**

Southern Highlands Industrial Supplies is hiring

We are looking for a front counter sales assistant to join our team.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

The duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows but not limited to:

- Greet customers and assist with enquiries
- Provide customers with prompt service
- Cashier duties - sales & returns
- Answering phones
- Handling incoming/outgoing workshop jobs
- Maintain stock and inventory (i.e. nuts, bolts, belts, bearings)
- Processing received goods
- Purchase Orders
- Maintain a clean store appearance

**Requirements**:

- Forklift ticket
- Require the equivalent completion of Year 10
- Add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure
- Sound understanding of metric and imperial units
- Sound communication skills
- Can work well independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to learn
- Positive, energic and professional attitude
- Basic understanding of POS systems

**Hours**

8am-4pm. Monday - Friday.

Training will be provided.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
