We're excited to offer an opportunity for a Reward & Governance Lead to Lead Snowy Hydro's People & Culture - Project Management Office This role is a great next step for someone eager to drive impactful governance practices and enhance our reward frameworks to align with company values and strategic goals.
As the Reward & Governance Lead, you'll be at the heart of our efforts to maintain equitable and effective reward structures, ensuring our policies are both compliant and meaningful. This position plays a key role in fostering an environment where our employees feel valued, supported, and aligned with Snowy Hydro's purpose. This is a permanent full time position based in our Sydney office.
**In this role, you will**:
- Lead the development and execution of our reward strategy, ensuring it aligns with organisational goals and fosters a culture of recognition and engagement.
- Implement strong governance practices across reward policies, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and maintaining transparency.
- Work closely with People & Culture, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure the smooth operation of reward initiatives, managing complex reward issues and fostering trust across departments.
- Continuously evaluate reward processes and metrics, implementing improvements to enhance effectiveness and alignment with industry best practices.
- Leverage people data and analytics to inform reward decisions, supporting strategic objectives and enhancing our people processes.
**To succeed in this role, you should bring**:
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in reward and governance roles within People & Culture, with a strong focus on compliance and alignment with organisational values.
- In-depth knowledge of reward structures, governance practices, and relevant legislative frameworks.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically with an enterprise-wide view.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
