**The Opportunity**:
As a rapidly growing business in an emerging industry, we understand the importance of developing our stakeholder engagement strategies and our communication externally and internally. This is an opportunity to make a significant influence on the exceptional potential of our business and the evolution of the medicinal cannabis industry. Having a seat on the leadership team and reporting directly to the CEO, you will be able to see the impact of your work through the value of our brand and reputation.

**Your Role**:

- **Stakeholder Strategy development** - drives strategic partnerships, government relations, public affairs, and policy initiatives to advance easykind's mission in delivering the best possible experience for patients of medical cannabis.
- **Regulatory** - facilitate and manage engagement and communication with government and industry regulators. Build strategic relationships with government and regulators. Understand evolving changes locally and globally and the impact on easykind. Co-ordinate activities to comply, protect and grow the business.
- **Communication** - develop and implement internal and external communication strategies.
- **Industry Groups and Partners** - represent the business with various industry associations, ensuring our interests are represented.
- **Brand** - develop strategies that grow the value of our brand.
- **PR and Media Engagement** - extends from developing policies through to representing the business at industry events, government forums, public events and stakeholder meetings. The role will also monitor social media and news, providing insight and risk mitigation plans to the leadership team.
- **Investor relations** - an opportunity to grow into this space over time.
- **Leadership** - demonstrate constructive behaviours at the senior leadership team.

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Extensive experience leading external affairs, communications, or public relations.
- Proven track record in developing and executing exceptional external affairs strategies.
- Experience in regulated industries is essential. Healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or cannabis are highly-desirable.
- An existing network within government, industry bodies, and advocacy groups is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commercially savvy.
- Strong influencer and creative thinker.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects.
- High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Occasional travel may be required.
