- The Q/EHS (Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety) Manager is crucial in ensuring safety, health, and environmental compliance within Yunex Traffic. Their primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the implementation of effective health and safety practices to prevent accidents, injuries, and environmental damage at Yunex locations and project sites.- We are looking for a Q/EHS Manager responsible for implementing the Q or EHS aspects of Yunex Traffic integrated management system and all country specific laws, rules, and regulations.-
**Main focus of this function**
- The Country Q/EHS Manager ensures the implementation of the Q or EHS aspects of Yunex Traffic integrated management system based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, where the relevant certificates are required in the country. The operation of the integrated management system is the responsibility of Yunex Traffic ST BE in collaboration with the country-Q/EHS manager and Q/EHS officer
- Ensure compliance with all country specific laws, rules and regulations.
- Report any Quality issues or EHS incidents.
**Areas of responsibility and tasks**
- The specific tasks and responsibilities of the Q/EHS Manager may vary depending on the organization and project, but generally include the following:
- Manage the implementation of Safety Management Plans across the business and projects.
- Undertake, or lead, investigations in relation to safety or environmental related incidents or issues and provide recommendations through the contract leadership team.
- Developing and implementing Q/EHS policies: The EHS Manager is responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive policies and procedures that comply with local, state, and national regulations. They establish guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all workers on site.
- Implementing processes to ensure communication and compliance with all Q/EHS policies and procedures, including fostering a culture of 'safety and health above all else'.
- Ensuring risk assessments and risk registers are developed and maintained, and all records are managed in accordance with Company requirements.
- Risk assessment and mitigation: Conducting thorough risk assessments is an essential part of the Q/EHS Manager's role. They identify potential hazards, evaluate risks, and develop strategies to mitigate and control them. This involves regular site inspections and audits to identify safety gaps and take corrective actions.
- Utilize data to enable informed decisions to be made in relation to asset disposal, renewal, and planned maintenance programs.
- Incident investigation and reporting: In the unfortunate event of an environmental incident or safety accident, injury, or near-miss incident, the Q/EHS Manager leads the investigation to determine the root causes and implement corrective measures. They maintain accurate incident records and prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities, as required.
- Contractor management: Many projects involve multiple contractors and subcontractors. The Q/EHS Manager oversees contractor selection processes and evaluates their safety performance. They set expectations, provide guidance, and monitor contractors to ensure they comply with safety regulations.
- Review the documents of the international management system e.g. policy, objectives and goals, stakeholder analysis and add country specific information if required.
- He or she shall perform all tasks necessary to implement the Q or EHS aspects of the integrated management system, such as supporting to conduct audits or scheduling internal and external audits and controlling the findings and tracking the respective corrective actions as well as management reviews
- Managing the country specific processes, KPIs and regulations.
- Ensure effective NCC and complaint management.
- The Country Q/EHS Manager is the point of contact for YU ST BE and is part of the respective community.
- He or she must report any Q issues or EHS incidents to YU ST BE and the country management. This includes product safety incidents, major quality issues, employee accidents, or environmental accidents.
- Q/EHS Manager is an active part of Yunex Traffic QEHS community.

- Escalate any Q/EHS issues within customer projects.
- Reporting of Q/EHS incidents to YU ST BE and country management.
- Access to all relevant Q/EHS data.
**What we are looking for**:
- Tertiary Qualification in Workplace / Occupation Health and Safety, Environmental or Quality Equivalent.
- Experience in managing safety audit programs to ensure effective system compliance.
