Good Choice Disability Services (GCDS) is looking for a
caring and reliable Support Worker
to assist a teenage participant with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by providing school drop-off support in the mornings.
This is a
short, simple shift
, ideal for someone local.
About the Role
Pick up the participant from her home in Bayswater
Create a calm and friendly atmosphere for the short drive to school
Be mindful of any sensory sensitivities during the journey
Ensure a safe and timely school Pick-Up
Some shifts require taking participants to some appointments within the two-hour shift.
Who We're Looking For
Someone who understands ASD or has experience working with neurodivergent individuals
Calm, friendly, and reliable
Punctual with strong communication skills
Confident driver with a clean, insured vehicle
Essential Requirements
Working with Children Check
National Police Check
NDIS Worker Screening Check
First Aid & CPR certification
NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate
Driver's licence + full comprehensive car insurance
