About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Regional Coordinator who will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals with disabilities to secure meaningful employment. In this leadership position, you will oversee the management of multiple offices and teams across the region.

If you've been working in the Disability Employment Services (DES) industry for a while, and are ready to build, shape, and give back to a team of your own as a leader, this might be the role for you.

Every day, you will empower and motivate a dedicated team of DES consultants to reach their potential and create meaningful change in the lives of job seekers with disability. Supporting other people to succeed and reach their KPIs is what drives you. You will be a mentor and a leader to your team, conducting regular one-on-ones, training, and professional development to enable staff to be their very best self.

As team leader, this is an opportunity to share your knowledge and assist the Operations Manager to enact strategic change that shapes the future of your operations. You like a smooth sailing ship and have an organisational mindset that keeps in check all the background processes, contractual obligations, and quality frameworks, so your staff can do the thing they do best: make a difference. You're not afraid of change, and your leadership and problem-solving skills will guide your team when complex problems arise.

Skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience within the Disability Employment Services (DES)
- Experience with providing leadership, mentoring, and coaching - you will be excited by providing leadership and development opportunities for your team across Tasmania
- Self-driven, resilient, and solutions focused
- Have a good understanding or empathy for impact of disability in the workplace and job search

Mandatory requirements
- Current driver's license
- Must hold or be able to obtain a current Working with Children Clearance
- Must complete a national police check
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
