**Role Summary**:
The **Wholesale Contracts Manager** is an exciting opportunity in our Trading & Governance business unit based at our Perth CBD office.

Drive Synergy's performance through the management of wholesale electricity, gas and coal contracts. Lead the optimisation of sales, transport, storage to enhance the wholesale team portfolio performance. As a people leader, you will collaborate and lead the highly engaged team to build a more sustainable future for Western Australia.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Oversee the management of the wholesale's suite of power purchase agreements and bilateral electricity trading agreements.
- Lead the development and implementation of systematic gas pricing and supply processes and methodologies.
- Lead the development and implementation processes for the management of Synergy's coal contract.
- Responsible for the optimisation of the gas and coal storage holdings.
- Ensure compliance with Synergy's Regulatory Compliance Policy.

**What you'll bring**:

- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- An in-depth understanding of the energy trading or wholesale energy and fuel markets.
- An in-depth understanding of gas and electricity contract management, negotiation, and sales.
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of competence in driving complex business decisions.
- Experience in dealing with regulatory and legal stakeholders.
