Retail Communications Specialist

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Communications Specialist to implement the Retail Communications Strategy of Lotte Duty Free Oceania.

**THIS ROLE WILL SEE YOU**:

- Drive campaigns from planning to execution to meet key performance metrics
- Support overall marketing strategy with retail communications strategy (eg. Instore promotions, overall communications planning)
- Constantly optimize marketing activities to improve ROI (traffic, footfall, conversion rates)
- Allocate and adhere to budgets & analyse/recommend modifications to ad spends
- Manage our external VM/media agencies
- Oversee the formulation and implementation of retail marketing and media campaigns according to the overall Marketing Plan
- In consultation with Merchandise Team, develop and manage promotional calendars
- Prepare communication briefs for in-house creative and external printing agencies and ensure there is adherence to brand creative guidelines
- Briefing, coordination and production of communications materials

**YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES WILL BE**:

- Achievement of key performance metrics for all retail activations and promotional initiatives
- Budget maintenance and control of marketing costs
- Focus on all airport locations: Melbourne, Brisbane, Wellington, Darwin

**WHO ARE YOU?**

**_ Essential_**
- Proven ability to operate on-the-tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, Zoom, Webex)
- Ability to interpret and present key findings to the broader business (presentation skills and preparation of documents that can show-and-tell)
- Experience in successfully designing, planning, implementing and evaluating performance marketing campaigns
- Ability to interpret conceptual ideas in order to oversee the appropriate marketing solutions
- Understanding of all digital channels including on-line, social and mobile a plus
- Proven project management experience
- Demonstrated ability to achieve goals within set timeframes and within budget
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and to be innovative
- Advanced written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail & desire to learn on the job
- Proven negotiation experience
- Must have a strong sense of urgency & excellent organizational skills
- Aspires to work in a fast-paced, super agile, high-performance and creative marketing team
- Ability to problem-solve and navigate uncertainty
- Creative Entrepreneurial Thinker and Doer

- Marketing experience within retail operations
- Tertiary education within Marketing & Communications / Digital Marketing / Ecommerce
