About the Role
We are seeking to fill three (3) teacher aide positions to support behaviour programs with:

- One (1) position based at the Metropolitan North hub (Stafford).
- One (1) position based at the Metropolitan West hub (Ipswich).
- One (1) position base at the Metropolitan South hub (Murrarie).

The successful applicant will be an integral member of a highly supportive and professional specialist team that provides behaviour support services to schools in the Metropolitan Region. You will:

- Support for the Program Co-ordinator in the enrolment process for students
- Liaise with families, schools and other agencies under the direction on the Program Coordinator
- Provide support in preparation of daily schedule
- Provide learning support for students
- Assist in organising community-based projects including work experience
- Provide support for off-site activities
- Short-term mentoring for students on return to school
- Participate in social skills program and ongoing modelling of social skills
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, following team protocols and processes, attending team meetings and Professional Development
- Display confidentiality, respect and empathy at all times towards all stakeholders
- Communicate effectively and display high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member.
- Provide clerical assistance duties including compiling students records, assisting in organising off site activities, photocopying, resource making, school contact etc

When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
