In this role you will be responsible for driving up the sortation & line haul infrastructure in the region which includes identifying the new routes.Step Up Process Assistant OpportunityThis is a opportunity to step up into a process assistant role for a period of time.Key job responsibilitiesJob Deliverables As Step Up Process AssistantDaily Management of shiftAdministrative management of associatesJob allocation to associatesMonitoring and mentoring of associates on productivity, quality and safety.Analysis of the data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and improve the performanceMonitor status of problem solve queuesResponsible for shift quality and associated action plansPreparing and implementing training and development plans for associatesConduct a 4M and 5S audit for the respective work stations on a daily basisImplement the formal process control and process improvement mechanisms such as KaizenEssential Skills Defining the transportation process from FC to FC/RSCEnsure enough bandwidth in sortation team to ensure peak time delivery managementContinuously improve the through put and attain a sustained level of delivery performance improvementStand-in for Area ManagerBasic QualificationsHigh school or equivalentWork a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysCan lift up to 22.2kg, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reachWork 40 hours/week, and overtime as requiredPreferred Qualifications1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experienceAcknowledgement Of CountryIn the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
