This position will lead the development of media and communications strategies that engage key stakeholders, support the business in achieving its objectives, and enhance and protect brand and reputation.

The Corporate Media and Communications Manager will be a key part of our team developing and enhancing the organisation's corporate reputation. It will also support our General Manager Corporate Communications and CEO in building, maintaining, and effectively leveraging strategic relationships and partnerships across government, industry stakeholders and key influencers.

Our Corporate Media and Communications Manager will ideally have demonstrated experience in the following areas:

- Media relations including developing and implementing successful media strategies that enhance the brand and image of an organisation.
- Communications and stakeholder engagement across a range of areas including development of communication materials, campaigns, marketing collateral, public presentations including speeches.
- Advising and guiding executive and senior managers on effective media management strategies.
- Influencing stakeholders about the importance of corporate communications.
- Developing and managing relationships with a wide range of government and related stakeholders to promote a positive reputation.

Our Corporate Media and Communications Manager will ideally have the following qualifications, skills and knowledge:

- Degree qualification in journalism, communications or public relations related field or equivalent significant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in managing corporate media relations and communications services in a complex, geographically dispersed organisation and providing high level advice and support.
- Experience in delivering a range of integrated communications strategies to build brand awareness and reputation
- Demonstrated high level stakeholder relationship management to support communication strategies and issues management.
- InDesign, Photoshop and video editing skills would be highly regarded.
- Understanding and experience in media monitoring tools and programs.
