We are looking for a Junior Finance Analyst to support the Business Control team to manage the planning, reporting and analysis across the OAE Group

The Junior Finance Analyst will report to the Head of Business Control and work within a team of 3 from our Ipswich office.

The role will suit a self-motivated and diligent individual, looking to qualify as an ACCA/CIMA over the next few years and eventually become a key commercial asset to our organisation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support Business Control team with data compilation and analysis;
- Work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization;
- Assist with presentations that provide insightful analysis, and help identify required action items;
- Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement;
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.

**Requirements**:

- Newly qualified and/or actively studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CFA/University degree in Finance & Accountancy or equivalent);
- Financial Statements Knowledge - P&L, BS, Cash flow;
- Exposure to Planning Tools would be considered an asset (Hyperion, Cognos, or similar);
- Working experience with accounting software packages, especially Power BI and Microsoft Navision, would be considered an asset;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Pivot tables, sum ifs, x lookups, power query;
- Confident to communicate and present to both internal and external stakeholders and maintain relationships;
- Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, working proactively in a deadline-driven environment;
- Comfortable to work without direct supervision as well as being part of a team.
