The Role We are looking to a Support Service Employee to join our housekeeping Part Time (2x days per week) As a Support Service Employee your duties will include but not be limited to: Assist with full range of domestic dutiesClean picture frames, wall ornaments and sanitise all towel dispensers, light and air-conditioning switchesBe responsible for the general cleanliness of the kitchen, including all appliances, storage areas, work benches and floorsPrepare clothing, garments and linen for washing and drying and perform those duties using safe handling of laundry chemicalsMake beds, change linen, turn mattress where necessaryWet dust all picture frames and wall ornamentsWet wipe and sanitise all towel dispensers, light and air-conditioning switchesWipe over all lights in front foyer, lounge, activities room, and at the entrance.Clean exhaust hoods in the kitchen #LI-DNIPrevious experience in a similar roleGenuine compassion, commitment and enthusiasmAbility to work well in a teamEmpathy towards the elderly and respectful of their needsFlexibility to work on rotating shifts morning & afternoon Mon-SunAble to provide evidence of COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations Southern Cross Benefits
