Overview

Support Service Employee (Bus Driver) - North Turramurra

Responsibilities
  • Inspect the vehicle prior to operation for safety purposes using a designated safety check list; report any malfunctions and ensure the vehicle is in safe operational order.
  • Perform and/or coordinate basic vehicle maintenance; service vehicle with petrol, water and oil; clean exterior and interior of vehicles including picking up debris, sweeping floor, wiping upholstery and cleaning windshields and headlights.
  • Maintain and update records such as incident and accident reports; report incidents affecting passenger safety; report mechanical defects and malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain records of expenditure within delegated authority and prepare monthly reconciliations.
  • Assist staff with residents when on outings.
Shift and Location

The successful candidate will work across two locations: North Turramurra (two days per week) and Marsfield (one day per week), totaling six shifts per fortnight.

Shift schedule: North Turramurra – 9:00 am to 3:30 pm (Wednesday & Friday); Marsfield – 9:00 am to 3:30 pm (Thursday).
