Overview
Nursing Opportunities - Healthcare at Home at St John of God Health Care. We are seeking Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to join our Home and Aged Care services across multiple sites in Victoria (Ballarat, Bendigo, Berwick and Geelong). Permanent and casual positions are available. You will provide nursing care to patients in their place of residence within the community. This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated and professional clinical team who provide excellent standards of care to patients throughout the community.
Responsibilities
Understand and support the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
Commit to the organisation's service ethos through the provision of excellent service.
Assess and document the anticipated needs of the patient.
Make relevant referrals as necessary.
Assess home occupational health and safety needs and arrange occupational therapy assessment to improve safety if necessary.
Provide care in accordance with the nursing care plan to promote return to independent living where appropriate.
Liaise closely with the Registered Nurse, Clinical Case Manager and treating Doctor to maintain high standards of nursing care within the home.
Observe, record and report to a Registered Nurse any changes in physical or mental conditions and symptoms.
Qualifications
Valid State Drivers Licence.
Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.
Minimum three years post-graduate experience in acute nursing or speciality for Registered Nurses.
Benefits and Employment Type
Salary: RN $79,535 to $100,984 plus 12% Superannuation
Salary: EN $63,087 to $75,324 plus 12% Superannuation
Casual rate: RN $50.15 to $63.68 (incl. 25% loading) plus 12% Superannuation
Casual rate: EN $39.78 to $47.50 (incl. 25% loading) plus 12% Superannuation
Permanent and casual positions available
Salary packaging up to $18,550 on benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation, and other living expenses, with options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap (e.g., novated leasing, work-related expenses, self-education, additional superannuation)
