Queensland is investing more than $14 billion in health infrastructure projects and a broad range of programs and initiatives, to relieve pressure on the public health system. This is the biggest capital investment in health in Queensland history.
The purpose of the role is to provide a specialist procurement and contracts management service for furniture, fixtures and equipment (FFE). The position will assist with the general co-ordination and delivery of FFE for capital projects.
**The role is responsible for but not limited to**:
- Procurement processes and deliver general sourcing activities.
- FFE project data management and reporting.
- Expediting orders and working with vendors to ensure successful delivery and handover of the equipment to site.
**What we are looking for**:
- Demonstrated high level knowledge and ability in public sector procurement and contracts management of FFE within a major capital project environment.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability in consultation, negotiation and liaison between management, clients, external service Partners and stakeholder group representatives.
- Awareness of business strategy and diligent in delivering own tasks to support the strategy.
- Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and innovative problem solving skills.
