Merchandise Allocator | BONDS | Kew, Melbourne
Our iconic Bonds brand is currently on the hunt for an Allocator to join the Retail team on a 12 month fixed term contract
We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for retail planning and sees a career for themselves in this space.

Day in the life of
- Manage all stock allocations, rotations and consolidations based on planned sales, inventory targets and buying decisions.
- Manage stock levels of the category, ensuring the right mix and depth of product, reviewing best sellers, and advising on the de-ranging of poor performers.
- Manage stock requirements in store to meet variances in demand and promotional calendars, i.e. Christmas, VIP and School Holidays
- Allocate to agreed timelines and ensure delivery targets are met.
- Work with VM and Store operations to ensure store capacity plans are maintained
- Provide weekly delivery and stock allocation updates to the team

What are we looking for?
- Prior experience working in a similar role in allocations within the retail industry (preferred)
- Commercially minded & a keen problem solver
- Ability to make recommendations using data and analysis
- Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
- Customer service focus and ability to communicate at all levels
- Intermediate - Excel skills - comfortable using pivot tables, v-look ups, formulas etc (preferred but can be taught)
