**Description**
- We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate **Early Childhood Educator** who holds a **Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care**, to join our well-established team on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. This part-time position (12-month) begins in **Term 1, 2025**, working with our multi-age group and lunch cover. A total of 22.5 hours a week. Monday
- 7:30am-3pm Tuesday
- 9:30am-5pm Wednesday
- Term 1- 12:30pm-4:30pm, Term 2,3,4- Bush Kinder
- 9:15am-1:15pm Friday
- Lunch covers
- Collaborate with our Early Childhood Teachers to develop and deliver a high-quality, developmentally appropriate program for children, reflecting the needs of our community, families, and preschool philosophy.
- Work as part of a supportive team to create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including stepping into the role of Nominated Supervisor or person in day-to-day charge when required.
- Take shared responsibility for housekeeping tasks related to the program, such as preparation, hygiene, safety, and clean-up.
- Actively contribute to the development and implementation of the service's **Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)**.
- Collaborate with the Committee of Management (employer) and team members to maintain a safe work environment, adhering to all OHS safety procedures.
- Supervise staff and volunteers involved in the program, fostering clear and effective communication.
