SSIS Migration Specialist
This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a high-priority migration initiative.
The successful candidate will have experience with SSIS development and migration across SQL Server versions, including upgrading packages from SQL Server 2012 to SQL Server 2022. They will also be skilled in using SSDT for package conversion, as well as T-SQL and SQL Server performance tuning. A strong background in custom C# code within SSIS packages is essential, along with experience with Git or similar version control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess existing SSIS packages for upgrade readiness
Convert and modernise packages using SSDT
Optimise performance and troubleshoot post-migration issues
Develop and execute thorough testing plans to ensure data integrity and functionality
Requirements:
Strong understanding of SSIS development principles
Hands-on experience with SSDT and package conversion
Proficient in T-SQL and SQL Server performance tuning
Familiarity with custom C# code within SSIS packages
Experience with version control systems such as Git
