The Kitchen Supervisor will prepare the meals for our centres for Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea. This is a head of kitchen position, where you will work independently to ensure smooth kitchen operations for the centre. There's no need for formal qualifications and all training will be provided but you should be enthusiastic about preparing fresh and wholesome meals for the children in our service. Nutrition is a vital part of children's development and healthy eating is part of the QCCS philosophy. We believe food ingredients should come from the kitchen, not from a lab.

The Kitchen Supervisor must be passionate about children's nutrition and have the same ethos and passion to embed and promote this in our centre.

Your role will include the preparation of fruits and vegetables for platters etc, heating and delivering meals, ensuring compliance with the centre Food Safety Plan and much more

**Monday to Friday is a must**

**$23.80 - $26.97 per hour**

**8:00am - 3:30pm daily**

**The Woods Early Education Centre** is located in Ashgrove, just 250 metres from Ashgrove State School. Our Centre opened in January 1998 and cares for up to 90 children aged from birth to 5 years. We are passionate about sustainability and love to explore these practices with the children in our care.
