**What this opportunity involves**:
The role will be accountable to ensure that Client insights are delivered and utilised, and that account teams have the tools, training and architecture environment to be successful. The role will ensure that best practices are leveraged and implemented proactively on accounts. This role will also require hands-on dashboard and report development as required and the ability to distil information through a Client lens.

Key elements will include delivery of the day-to-day performance management requirements and exploring solutions for the account's data needs and problems. The role defines the business questions which need be answered to effectively deliver operational improvements, whilst endeavoring to create new data-driven approaches for the purpose of generating business and operations insights through data analytics and information visualization.

**Major responsibilities**:
Provide relationship management and advisory support to account team identifying trends, risks, compliance gaps, opportunity insights to enable fact-based decision making
Develop creative and innovative solution architecture to deliver on Account strategic priorities to help solution from problem statements, discover value from data and articulate these to the leadership team
Be an engaging storyteller, adept at translating data into meaning and relevant information for the business. Devise and promote creative data visualisation to derive actionable intelligence
Have commercial experience, understand how our business works and the ability to identify opportunities to reduce our cost and increase productivity for Clients
Provide optimisation opportunities across the region discovered from sharing best practices and collaboration across regions
Lead discovery and problem-solving teams to develop recommendations based on data interpretation and analysis to transform behaviours and techniques

Please note that you must be an Australian Citizen in order to comply with our client's requirement with the ability to gain and retain baseline security clearance.

Should be a business person first and foremost, and possess substantial operational experience, strong domain knowledge and a keen understating of how to leverage IT and data analytics tools
A high level of written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills, including long form reporting and technical writing.
Strong customer focus and demonstrated ability to work seamlessly with business and technical teams.
Business model knowledge and ability to scope and numerically quantify business problems.
Understanding Big Data statistical modelling techniques, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, classification, model selection, and natural language processing

**Understanding of Data Wrangling**: Data Discovery, Acquisition & Transformation process and the specific use of tools to support Self Service data preparation and data governance.
Working understanding of data warehouse design and data mining and ability to clean data and structure according to a required schema.
