**About the facility**

Barwon Health is the major regional health provider for the Barwon South Western Region. It is Victoria's largest regional health service and one of the busiest hospital's in the State. We serve a population of over 500,000 through the efforts of over 8,500 staff and more than 1,200 volunteers. We provide care at all stages of life and circumstances through a wide range of services from emergency and acute to mental health, primary care, community services, aged care and subacute/rehabilitation. Care is provided to the community through over 28 key locations throughout the region.

Under Barwon Health's emergency model of care patients are streamed to dedicated assessment areas including fast track, adult, paediatric, resuscitation, trauma and mental health areas. Our mission is to improve access and patient flow to provide a sustainable service that ensures high quality, safe, people-focused care.

**About the role**

An excellent opportunity exists in the Emergency Department at University Hospital Geelong for suitably experienced Patient Service Assistants (PSA) To be successful in this role you will have recent experience as a PSA and/or experience in related work areas. You will have a willingness and ability to develop skills and adapt to changing needs and hold a recognised PSA certificate (or equivalent) from a TAFE college, or equivalent registered training organisation.

Desirable: Experience in working with varying computer programs
Essential: Have you the flexibility to work all shifts on a monthly roster including morning, afternoon, night shift and weekends?
