The Opportunity The Clinical Risk & Quality Officer is a Full Time, Permanent role based in Frankston, Sandringham and establishes and drives an integrated and connected systems approach that enables strong clinical governance and a continuous improvement view of quality beyond compliance obligations.
Family Life is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Clinical Risk & Quality Officer to join our Clinical Practice & Quality team.
This role plays a pivotal part in supporting clinical governance and quality assurance across the organisation.
You'll work closely with the Director of Clinical Practice, Evidence & Quality and other key stakeholders to ensure compliance, drive continuous improvement, and foster a culture of safety and learning.
Key Responsibility Areas Coordinate Clinical Governance Committee operations and documentation Administer critical incident and complaint processes Maintain clinical risk registers and support risk treatment planning Lead internal and external quality audits, including ISO 9001 compliance Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality documentation Collaborate with the OHS Officer to ensure clinical governance aligns with safety standards Facilitate governance committees and the Diversity and Inclusion Working Group Support the implementation of the Reconciliation Action Plan Assist with privacy and data protection functions Provide corporate governance support to the DCPEQ, CEO, and Board Monitor and maintain Family Life's risk management systems Our Ideal Candidate at Family Life Growth Mindset - You pride yourself for your commitment to resilience and continuous improvement.
