The **Winery Quality Assurance Program Lead** will drive & implement with our winery teams HACCP food safety standards & quality assurance procedures across our owned operations.
The role provides implementation support for our six wineries located in Australia and New Zealand & will work to put in place simplified systems to ensure wineries are set up to follow processes.
You will work with all levels within our winery sites to deliver against our strategic initiatives as well as supporting our sites' success on compliance & incident management.

Here's a snapshot of the **Winery Quality Assurance Program Lead** responsibilities:
- Promote Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental values and systems to embed quality safety, and sustainability into the culture and ways of working.
- Quality & HACCP systems - support our Pinnacle quality & sustainability strategy delivery & ensure key priority initiatives are communicated and understood across our sites. The role coordinates with all sites to track and roll up progress.
- Support sites to implement & maintain Quality & HACCP policies, procedures, and records for all winery operations.
- Champion our internal Pinnacle standards & governance framework ensuring they are communicated and embedded at our sites. The role will work closely with the Manager to review industry benchmarks, legal and corporate requirements to maintain the framework.
- Partner with sites to gain & maintain agreed external accreditations that align with our stakeholder needs & quality agenda.
- Expert / SME support on HACCP, food safety incidents, risk assessments, systems review & food safety legislation.
- Reporting & Monitoring - maintain and support continuous improvement in internal processes & systems to obtain reliable information from our sites & suppliers to meet agreed stakeholder and mandatory reporting obligations.
- Participate in internal audits and external audits and review of non-conformances, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
**Now let's talk about you**:
- Degree in field of work ie Food Safety or Quality or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Training and experience in the implementation & management of Quality and/or Food Safety systems and thus understanding of HACCP, GMP and Quality System processes.
- Relevant wine industry experience desirable.
- Experience in the development and coordination of policies and procedures.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management.
- Training and experience in Auditing and management processes.
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
