Onsite- Global Market Leader in Manufacturing and Mining products.- Exciting role encompassing all aspects of AfterCast Department.- Attractive salary and 11.5% Superannuation.

To support the Weir Minerals business through the effective and safe preparation of castings, within an acceptable time frame in the Aftercast department.

Roster:
- 38 hours per week- 5 days per week- Day shift: 6am
- 2pm- Afternoon shift: 4pm
- 12am

**Responsibilities**:
- Preparation of castings for next stage of manufacturing process whilst meeting Aftercast production output.- Operation of equipment including overhead Cranes (once Crane training is completed)- Ensuring that all equipment is fit for purpose and operating correctly.- Participating in toolbox talks.- Flexibility in operating in other areas if required by management.

Equipment:
- Grinder (zero gravity, 9-inch grinder weighing 9kgs and pencil grinder weighing 1.5kgs)- Overhead crane- Scissor table- Hammers- Pneumatic chisels

Shop floor:
- Level concrete flooring, rubber mat to stand on.- Non-air-conditioned but with good ventilation from fume extraction/ open doors.- Must be able to identify and negotiate shop floor hazards (moving parts, forklifts, trip hazards etc).- Exposure to dust and chemical hazards, however dust exposure minimised due to PPE.
