Purpose of Role:
To support the Weir Minerals business through the effective and safe preparation of castings, within an acceptable time frame in the Aftercast department.

Roster:
- 38 hours per week- 5 days per week- Day shift: 6am
- 2pm- Afternoon shift: 4pm
- 12am- Overtime available after training.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of castings for next stage of manufacturing process whilst meeting Aftercast production output.- Operation of equipment including overhead cranes (once crane training is completed).- Ensuring that all equipment is fit for purpose and operating correctly.- Participating in toolbox talks.- Flexibility in operating in other areas if required by management.- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge:
- PPE Provided- Constant standing.- Constant gripping.- Constant carrying up to 9kgs.- Frequent walking.- Frequent pushing/pulling up to 9kgs.- Frequent twisting.- Occasional bending and squatting.

Equipment:
- Grinder (zero gravity, 9-inch grinder weighing 9kgs and pencil grinder weighing 1.5kgs).- Overhead crane.- Scissor table.- Hammers.- Pneumatic chisels.
