Reporting relationships
This position reports to a Manager, K-10 Curriculum and Assessment Branch. No positions report directly to this position.
Main responsibilities

**In this role, you will**:

- lead, manage and contribute to assigned curriculum and assessment projects, focusing on primary schools contexts, within timelines, using allocated resources and involving officers across QCAA and external participants
- lead and participate in project teams to develop policy advice, resources and professional learning that is informed by research and data
- plan and develop resources, and present professional development for teachers and key stakeholders to support the implementation of the P-10 Australian Curriculum version 9.0: focusing on P-6 Science and Technologies (including Design Technologies and Digital Technologies)
- provide expert advice to Managers and the Director on issues related to primary schools, particularly P-6 Australian Curriculum: Science and Technologies
- prepare briefings, correspondence and reports and other high-level correspondence
- develop and maintain professional relationships between QCAA and key stakeholders
- participate in forums, workshops and discussion groups in relation to the work of the QCAA.
