Contribute to a mission-critical government program Hybrid work arrangements available Long-term contract with extension option A high-profile Federal Government Agency is looking to engage an experienced Senior Test Automation Consultant (Senior Automated Test Engineer) to support a priority ICT program focused on delivering innovative, accessible, and resilient technology solutions.
The successful consultant will be offered an initial 12-month contract with the option to extend for another 12 months, and will receive a rewarding hourly rate.
The successful Senior Test Automation Consultant will be responsible for, but not limited to: Evaluating and recommending test automation technology selection and strategy.
Designing and implementing automation frameworks for backend and UI components, with strong emphasis on accessibility.
Setting standards for test code and automation coding principles across the team.
Supporting in-Sprint delivery of automated tests to meet acceptance criteria.
Writing automated tests and supporting test code.
The successful Senior Test Automation Consultant will have experience in the following: Expert "hands-on" technical proficiency in automation testing, frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and tools.
2–5 years' experience in a senior automation testing role.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Strong ability to work with autonomy and a proactive "can do" attitude.
Demonstrated analytical skills, attention to detail, and passion for quality through automation.
