**About the opportunity**

We are currently seeking a dedicated and an ambitious future Health Care Leader or Manager to join our team at our **Moran Sylvania home**. **This opportunity is not to be missed as this role comes with a clear pathway into management.

The Assistant Care Manager (ACM) forms part of the clinical leadership team in our Moran Home Sylvania. You will have a voice and your opinions will be heard as you are consulted on and assist in making decisions in collaboration with other clinical leaders in the home, and across the wider organisation.

You will be supported and mentored to ensure you thrive in your role with us. You will work with a great team of dedicated people and your contribution will make a difference to our residents' enjoyment of their life every day. **About the Role**
- Lead Assessment & Care Planning, shaping how care is delivered
- Supervision of nursing care, services and clinical teams ensuring high quality clinical care is provided
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with MHCG policies and procedures and Aged Care Accreditation Standards
- Implementation and supervision of planned individual resident programs
- Providing direction and guidance to the broader care team
- Clinical mentoring of RNs
- Supporting the delivery of continuous quality improvement
- Progression pathway into senior leadership / management roles

**About You**

As a collaborative and senior member of the leadership team, with clinical experience within the aged care sector, you will have
- Registered Nurse with at least 3 years clinical experience; aged care management experience and familiarity with the Standards for Aged Care Facilities and Aged Care Funding Instrument
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; able to relate and liaise with residents, relatives, employees and other health professionals
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a committed member of a team
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Systems approach to care and services delivery and computer Literacy
- Current Police Check and appropriate Working Rights
- Current influenza vaccination
