Care Connect are seeking motivated individuals to provide in home care to our Out of Hospital Care and Aged Care clients in The Hills Shire and surrounding areas.As an industry leading and dynamic care provider, Care Connect's purpose is to enable people to live independently and safely at home for longer.
Responsibilities of the Homecare Support Worker:Personal grooming and hygiene assistance including medication remindersDomestic duties including cleaning and laundryFood shopping, menu planning and meal preparationMobility assistance within the home/local communityMust possess strong care factor to prioritise client well-beingRequirements of the role:Right to Work in AustraliaDriver's licence and own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurancePolice CheckWorking with Children CheckFirst Aid and CPR certificateMinimum of 3 COVID-19 vaccinationsCertificate III (Aged Care/Individual Support OR Home and Community Care), OR Bach/Dip of Nursing (OR completed first-year study towards it)Minimum 3 months of paid experience working within the aged care or community care sectorA fantastic attitude and genuine interest in helping othersOther benefitsPart-time positions available, both qualified ($29.71 p/h) and unqualified ($27.89 p/h) positions$500 Joining Bonus paid after 3 monthsNFP Salary Packaging benefits as well as Meals & EntertainmentPaid kilometres travelled between shifts of $0.96 per KMDiscounted Health Insurance & wellbeing productsEmployee Assistance programAccess to learning and development and professional developmentHow to ApplyCare Connect is an inclusive, Equal Opportunity employer.
