For our office located at Sydney International Airport we are looking for a Logistics Officer.The Logistics Officer will play a key role in planning logistics activities. They will offer operational and technical support, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of practices, systems, and procedures in alignment with company standards and Australian regulations. This position involves working between our 3PL site and other stakeholders.**Logistics Officer**

Your new job includes
- Oversee the seamless coordination of daily inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring the timely update of tracking reports for enhanced visibility.
- Take charge of monitoring and optimizing warehouse KPI's to drive operational efficiency and performance excellence.
- Conduct thorough and timely investigations into shipment discrepancies, facilitating the resolution process on-site, and promptly reporting any issues to vendors for claims processing.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and 3PL, addressing queries, and ensuring the timely verification of invoices while tracking costs against the budget.
- Enforce compliance with Heinemann delivery standards and Australian regulations, tracking vendor scorecards and reporting on performance metrics.
- Manage manual orders for both sellable and non-sellable items, operating between sites and stores to ensure a streamlined and compliant logistics process.
- Collaborate closely with our freight forwarders and customs broker, ensuring timely documentation for both import customs clearance and export shipments

What you should bring along
- 3- 5 years of experience in handling warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound processes and overall inventory movement.
- Expertise in Australian customs and documentation
- Managing and building stakeholder relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Solid skills in Excel, MS-Office, SAP/R3 (Retail) or similar ERP
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Able to work autonomously, as well as within a team
- Able to work within a high pressure environment
- Proven commitment to all aspects of Health Safety Environment and Security
