**Teacher of Learning Strategies**

Melbourne Grammar School is seeking a Teacher of Learning Strategies at our junior school (Grimwade House) for the 2025 Academic Year.

You will strive to/be required to:

- Have enthusiasm for a commitment to teaching students from Prep to Year 6
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the learning needs of a wide range of abilities
- Have the ability to use formative assessment as a means of improving student learning
- Have a flexible and dynamic approach to teaching and learning
- Have qualifications and experience within Special Education

**You will**:

- Enthusiasm for and commitment to teaching students from Prep to Year 6
- Comprehensive understanding of the learning needs of a wide range of abilities
- Flexible, adaptable and dynamic approach to teaching and learning
- Ability to utilise Information Communication Technology as a vital part of the learning process
- Collaborate with others to educate and nurture the whole person, fostering each student's intellectual, spiritual, physical, psychological and emotional growth.

VIT registration, or the ability to gain VIT registration, is essential.

Grimwade House is a caring and happy environment which values the particular nature of each child. The School is divided into two well-resourced sections, each with its own classrooms, level coordinator and specially designed play area. 'Harleston' houses the Junior Primary Years Prep, 1, 2. and 3 and Upper Primary for Years 4, 5 and 6. In addition to an extensive classroom program there are a number of specialist programs that work together to provide a holistic educational experience.
