As a Timber Mill Hand Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the Timber Mill Hands and Benchman to keep operations running smoothly.
From sorting and processing timber to helping produce Cross Arms and custom-made Timber Pallets, your contribution will help ensure safety, quality, and efficiency every step of the way.As The Timber Mill Hand In Maryborough,you WillAssist with all aspects of mill operations to meet customer ordersSupport quality control across production areasSort and merchandise timber for further processingProcess, pack, and prepare materials to fulfil orderHelp minimise material wastage and maintain a clean, safe workspaceWhat You Can Bring To The TeamStrong communication skills with a collaborative mindsetAbility to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary teamExperience in timber mill operations or similar industry (desirable)Confidence using hand tools, drills, and basic equipmentOther Requirements Of The RolePossession of a current driver's licence preferredPossession of a current Forklift licences/certificates are desirable but not essentialCommitted to undertaking the relevant Security Check(s) and to be issued with and hold Blue Card & Yellow Worker Screening Card during employment with Endeavour Foundation.Find out more about Endeavour Foundation
