**About the Role**:
As a Telecommunications Linesworker, you will play a crucial role in connecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunications equipment and networks. Your responsibilities will include:

- Connecting wires and cables to different appliances.
- Sealing cables and sheaths using lead and thermoplastic materials.
- Handling fiber installation, including preparation, hygiene, and termination.
- Installing telecommunications equipment such as phones, switchboards, and data transmission devices.
- Repairing or replacing faulty items and conducting thorough equipment testing.
- Setting up, testing, and maintaining wires, cables, and antennae.
- Identifying and troubleshooting equipment issues using specialized instruments.
- Reviewing drawings and specifications to determine the best installation positions and connections.
- Performing safety and quality inspections and reporting any issues.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need the following skills and experience:

- At least 3 years of working experience in cabling troubleshooting on a major telecommunication network.
- Construction Card (White Card) required.
- NBN enable required.
- First Aid & CPR required.
- Australian (C Class) Drivers License required.
- Cabling and testing certificates required.
- Police check (within 6 months): Must be clear with no convictions required.
- Confined space & gas detection preferred.
- Traffic Management card (Yellow Card) preferred.
- Working at height preferred.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 per year
