**Injury Management Specialist**:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Injury Management Specialist looking to make a real difference through their work at myHomecare across our national business footprint. Our office is conveniently located close to public transport in Castle Hill with hybrid working options available.
**So, what does the role entail?**
No matter your role with the myHomecare Group, you'll play a key part in supporting our clients and their families. With us, you'll become a true leader in the in-home care space - and we've got the comprehensive training and development tools to get you there. You'll be responsible for:
- Establishing and maintaining contact with the injured worker to encourage them to actively participate in the development of the rehabilitation program.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with the key internal and external stakeholders (allied health providers) to facilitate service delivery and improvements.
- Coordinate and attend medical appointments to obtain urgent medical attention and evidence based early intervention for employees who sustain work related injuries.
- Lodge claims with the respective insurers nationally to ensure initial notifications are lodged within appropriate timeframes.
- Coordinate the workers recovery at work, including assisting in identifying suitable and meaningful duties.
- Develop rehabilitation and return to work plans in consultation with the injured worker, treating health practioners and respective teams.
- Monitor injured workers progress and keep accurate and up to date digital records.
- Ensure confidential information is collated, handled and stored to maintain the highest level of privacy and integrity.
- Effectively manage claims to maximise outcomes for both the injured worker and organisation.
- Efficiently manage a caseload of work and non-work-related injury management cases and report on performance.
**We are looking for someone with**:
- 2+ years' experience in Injury Management, Rehabilitation and Workers Compensation Management.
- Injury Management Coordinator, Rehabilitation and Return to work Coordinator or Allied Health Qualifications (desirable).
- Previous use of Solvinjury software applciation (desirable).
- Strong knowledge of Workers Compensation Legislation.
- Knowledge of the workers compensation system including legislative requirements and the responsibilities of employers and injured employees.
- Relationship and stakeholder management.
- Conflict management and resolution skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication with proven negotiation skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- The right to work in Australia.
- Current Australian Drivers licence and willingness to drive and travel as required.
- A current police check or willingness to obtain - myHomecare can arrange one at no cost to you.
- Proof of covid vaccination.
