An exciting new opportunity for a 3-5 year Associate has arisen within our successful and busy Melbourne insurance team. You will work largely with two highly respected and market leading partners, Ganga Narayanan and Mark Attard on impressive matters for fantastic clients.

Ganga's broad defence practice encompasses all State and Federal jurisdictions across large-scale multi-party litigation, coronial inquests, disciplinary hearings, personal injury, property damage and medical liability claims, fraud and non-disclosure claims and life insurance claims. She is recommended in Insurance by Legal 500, and was listed as a Preeminent Public Liability Lawyer with Doyles Guide in 2016. Mark was the Best Lawyers Australia Lawyer Of The Year for insurance law in 2021, and has a practice covering all aspects of general insurance and professional indemnity.

**About you**

We are seeking a 3-5 year Associate with experience working in private practice.

This role is casualty / injury focussed, so that experience is essential. Its important that you also have strong written and verbal communication skills, and an interest in business development, and mentoring of less senior lawyers within the team. Medical malpractice experience would be a bonus, but is not absolutely essential.
