We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking **Regional Waste Management Coordinator** to lead the delivery of our Regional Waste Strategy and spearhead collaborative waste and circular economy initiatives across our member councils.

**About the Role**

This is your chance to:

- Drive regional initiatives that recover resources, protect the environment, and promote circular economy principles.
- Contribute to the delivery of the NSW Waste and Sustainable Materials Strategy 2041 and its targets.
- Build partnerships between councils, the EPA, and industry to shape sustainable waste solutions.
- Influence Federal, State and regional waste policies and programs.

**About You**
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the waste management sector
- Proven success in relationship building, negotiation, and cross-organisational collaboration.
- Deep understanding of NSW and local government waste management policies and practices.
- Strong project management expertise with a focus on evidence-based policy development.
- Demonstrated knowledge of procurement and contract management processes.
