Visy began manufacturing corrugated cardboard boxes in Melbourne, Australia, in 1948 and has grown to become one of the world's leading privately owned packaging, paper, logistics and recycling companies.The opportunity:We are currently recruiting Process Workers to join our team in Visy Board, Dandenong.
These are full time permanent roles working on a rotating shift of 2 weeks on day shift (6am start) and 2 weeks on afternoon shift (4.30pm start).
As a Process worker your main duties will involve tasks such as Stacking, feeding or rework.
Reporting to the Shift manager your key responsibilities will include:Operate machinery to meet production, service, and quality standards for the manufacture of cardboard packaging.Feeding product into the converting machines and arranging product at the machine discharge points.Stacking products onto palettes for further processing ensuring all board stacked are neat and stable.Assist in machine setup, dismantling and job changes tasks for a production run.Perform quality inspection checks and other procedural checks to ensure the best quality is delivered to our customersMaintain safe work and operating practices, and a high level of housekeeping at all times.What you will bring to the team:As our new Process Worker, you will have previous experience operating machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You will be a reliable team player, with a strong work ethic.
You have good communication skills and process a strong focus on Health, Safety and Environmental practices.
