The opportunity:

We are currently recruiting Process Workers to join our team in Visy Board, Dandenong. These are full time permanent roles working on a rotating shift of 2 weeks on day shift (6am start) and 2 weeks on afternoon shift (4.30pm start). As a Process worker your main duties will involve tasks such as Stacking, feeding or rework. Reporting to the Shift manager your key responsibilities will include:

  • Operate machinery to meet production, service, and quality standards for the manufacture of cardboard packaging.
  • Feeding product into the converting machines and arranging product at the machine discharge points.
  • Stacking products onto palettes for further processing ensuring all board stacked are neat and stable.
  • Assist in machine setup, dismantling and job changes tasks for a production run.
  • Perform quality inspection checks and other procedural checks to ensure the best quality is delivered to our customers
  • Maintain safe work and operating practices, and a high level of housekeeping at all times.

What you will bring to the team:

As our new Process Worker, you will have previous experience operating machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be a reliable team player, with a strong work ethic. You have good communication skills and process a strong focus on Health, Safety and Environmental practices. Along with the following:

  • Ability to work hours shifts on a rotating roster – 2 weeks of days- 2 weeks of afternoon.
  • Proven ability to work in a physically demanding and fast paced environment.
  • The ability to work under pressure and display a good eye for detail particularly in quality control.
