We are currently seeking QA Test Lead who will implement organization strategies through the effective direction and management of resources while being accountable for the business strategies, functional or operational areas, processes, or programs.

In this role, you will be responsible and accountable for leading and developing a team of people, setting direction and deploying resources on varying projects, participating in organization-wide projects, while providing guidance and expertise on an as needed basis. Managers are required to understand how other business units operate, how their goals align with organizational goals and have budget and profit/loss responsibility.

What you will do- Leads a team of professional employees and/or supervisors.- Aids employees in the goal setting and performance review processes; performs other talent management and development decisions as needed.- Takes accountability for the performance and results of a team within own field; plans and implements procedures and systems to improve operating efficiency.- Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.- Allocates resources and assigns responsibilities for projects and assignments, checking status regularly.- Participates in internal projects that are broad in scope and closely tied to the organizational strategy.- Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers.- Evaluates current business processes and systems and formulates department/unit policies and practices.- Reviews performance data (releases, production issues and time to market) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels.- Motivates, develops, recruits and retains employees while rewarding and cultivating a culture of high performing teams.- Conducts a range of quality control tests and analyses, using expertise and knowledge or industry trends to ensure that all problems are resolved and that software meets or exceeds specified standards, development specifications or client requirements.- Creates test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow. Drafts, revises and approves test plans and scripts for other team members. Acts as a mentor for other team members in revising and giving advice.- Uses expertise when collaborating with internal or external team members to plan all applicable test phases to ensure that applicable test phases are successfully completed and documented and there is a plan for problem resolution.- Documents and formalizes the release engineering procedures, so that the process can continually be reviewed and improved.- Keeps control over test systems and source code.- Develops, revises and approves quality assurance and testing policies, standards and procedures.- Settles appropriate quality initiatives to implement during each phase of the system development life cycle.- When specializing in QA, develops, assures and maintains the quality of products and processes, including standard procedures and methods.
