3-5 shifts per week
Monday to Friday shifts from
4:00am – finish time variable, generally around 1pm
Drivers licence and car needed due to times and location
Adult casual rate (21yo +) $33.16 per hour
, reduced rate for younger applicants but all welcome to apply
Please note
- Due to the variety and volumes of our products, candidates should be aware that working with certain food products, e.g. meats, dairy or gluten-based items is a requirement of this role.
Role tasks and opportunities
Preparation and weighing of ingredients
Weighing, mixing, making and sheeting pastry - experience with pastry sheeting is essential to be considered for this role
Oven work and baking
Pie and cake assembly
Practicing cleanliness and hygiene at all times

If you have experience in a bakery role, great However, this is not essential as full training is provided
Knowledge of baking, cooking and food is good, having PASSION for it is essential
You have a CAN DO, hardworking attitude
You take pride in your reliability, punctuality and strong work ethic
You lead by example
You thrive in a fast paced environment, work unsupervised and love being a valued, contributing member of a supportive team
Work in a high temperature environment with commercial stoves and ovens
The
physical
nature of the role requires bending, lifting up to 10-20kg, twisting, stretching and reaching forward on a frequent basis, with repetitive tasks also requiring the ability to stand in the one place for extended periods of time
