Visy Logistics is now accepting applications from reliable and safety-focused drivers in the Laverton VIC area to support ongoing, sustainable work with a key local customer.With Visy you're NOT just a driver .
You are part of a team where your contributions are valued, and your career can accelerate.What you'll do :Driving Semi-trailer Tippers, Rigid Hook lift or Marrel trucksConduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules.Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.Comply with all company / site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.What You Will Bring :A valid HC or HR Licence with 2 years Australian driving experience.Experience with tippers, hook lift or marrel trucksSound knowledge of the VIC metro & regional areaProvide a full 5-year demerit point history report.Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.What you'll love when you join us :Work-Life Balance : Enjoy a consistent schedule that allows you to balance work with your personal life.Modern Fleet : Drive well-maintained, state-of-the-art, safety-first vehicles equipped with the latest technology.Supportive Environment : Be part of a team that values safety, respect, and collaboration.Career Growth : Opportunities for further training and career advancement within the company are supported through initiatives like the Accelerate Program.Ready to hit the road with us?
